'Lisboa' giclée print

from £28.00

In July 2019, I went on a little solo trip to Lisbon. On my first morning there, I visited the lush Jardim Botanico. Wandered around for a couple of hours, enjoying my time alone with all sorts of gorgeous plants. in the train to Portimao, I was looking back at my photos and felt inspired to draw one of them. I went for bright and soothing colours to recall the warmth in the air and the healing joy, softness and freedom to travel alone.

The little tattoo on the wrist reads “Takheel” and means “Imagination” in Arabic. I love this word and the power of imagination.
