Soumati Slow Fashion

Combining my love for art and fashion with a commitment to ethics and sustainability, I launched Soumati Studio as a slow fashion illustrated clothing brand. For three years, I poured my heart into creating limited edition collections — designed in London, photographed in California and London, and printed on organic, fair-trade cotton.

When the pandemic hit, I took a step back to reflect on my purpose and direction. As proud as I was of creating as sustainably as possible, I felt a growing resistance to adding more garments to the world. I realised I wanted less logistics, more art.

So I shifted the focus of Soumati Studio toward what truly drives me: painting and illustration. I closed the clothing chapter and opened a new one — a seasonal print shop offering high-quality giclée prints, created with care and intention.
